Sounds like a few quick stops before they leave…..some Extreme Durability Punching Bags (the kind that earn their capital letters), some posters with Monty’s face….and some tape would probably be good too. (Unless they can just pick up a few dozen extra Montybots….)

But it might even be therapeutic for all three of them!

    It’d be a pile of rust and dust in about six hits. And very much piss off whatever’s left to govern Decodenn. They might not be leaving on friendly terms…..but as of right now, they’re not expecting active pursuit.

It’s weird how this feels like a rape situation, even though it isn’t. The emotions and the damage feel almost exactly the same.

Wonderful portrayal of Agatha. Really hoping she finds the love and support she so desperately needs with Phin’s crew.

  I’ve been pretty open about how personal kc is for me so it’s probably obvious a lot of it is me working through my own various Trauma™, but it’s been really interesting seeing the things other people have picked up on in Agatha’s behavior during this arc. I never set out with the intention of like, “ah yes this is A Thing Victims Do so she should do it”, I just wrote her the way I write anyone else and apparently that ended up being an accurate enough portrayal of certain things that people clocked what was happening fairly early. It’s flattering in a way, but also kind of a reminder that putting earnest art on the internet is a really vulnerable thing to do?
  
  tbh it’s also been a bit upsetting how many people in the audience have enough experience with these things to identify abuse so easily, but the intention of this comic has always been to help people who hurt in odd ways feel less alone. Even if the common ground is shitty it’s reassuring to see it’s reaching some of the folks who might need it

    I don’t have much personal experience with abuse, thankfully. But the characteristics of this page make me think of those kinds of situations instantly.
    
    I’ve said it multiple times and I’ll say it again: you’re a very, very talented story teller. Brutal openness aside, it’s very hard to show and not tell this sort of thing to the level that you do. You have a natural knack for structuring not only words, but also images in conjunction with those words to evoke emotions and ideas without ever outright telling your audience to think or feel a certain way.
    
    Don’t be upset that so many people have experienced enough to identify negative situations. Life is cruel at times, but the fact that they’re here is a testament to their strength and that’s something to celebrate instead!

  I read it more as “child abuse” than rape but yeah, definitely feels like that
