There’s one more update in this chapter! I’ll be taking a break between chapters again, ideally we’ll be pausing after this Monday’s page goes up and returning on August 13th.

I’ll probably announce this again on Monday, but there are some new posters in the shop! I’ve been wanting to do travel posters for a long time and I’m really excited to finally be able to get em done.

  Ok so, I was going to refrain from responding to any of the What About Myla comments because I don’t want to give any sort of spoilers or heavily influence peoples’ theories, but between the discord and social media and here there have been a LOT of them and I’m nervous about people getting frustrated due to the nature of a page by page update schedule. I’ve reread the arc just to make REALLY REALLY SURE I’ve executed things the way I want to and my cagey af not-response to this is, up to this point we’ve been given a couple very good reasons why Myla isn’t an option here. They might be a little clearer on a reread! If not, if we get to the end of the arc and people are feeling unsatisfied I’ll be more than happy to write us up an essay examining my own work hehe.
  
  A new page is going up tomorrow that’s gonna stick to the front of the site for a couple weeks so I might have to repeat this there, I dunno how many people fool with comments on older pages. ANYWAY I appreciate y’alls enthusiasm as usual and I’m delighted people are paying enough attention to come up with ideas at all <3

    I doubt Ulrich would be on board with hooking Myla into their shenanigans. I also doubt that they would leave their clearly supportive family. Double, or perhaps triple, points because they think Phin is dumb.

      That’s cool! I hope I didn’t come off as aggressive or anything, yours was just the latest comment so it got stuck with the psa haha. I suppose I’m probably a little more paranoid than usual, I’d really rather not go on a break feeling like I’m leaving half the audience annoyed with the narrative.

My theory is that Kidd does some major favor for Monty in exchange for Agatha’s freedom, a favor that Agatha herself could not do. That or Phineas threatens (with obvious intent to follow through) to destroy the weather control system if Monty doesn’t release Agatha.
