That is…uh WHAT WTF NOT SURE BUT DEFINITELY NOT GOOD. That is Bel lying on the ground, right? But who is the red figure? Are the red and purple figures memories? The inside of Ulrich’s head is a strange place and these vines are NOT HELPING.

Also, uh, Phin, did you know your head looks like an amorphous blob of fire coalescing into a sun? You did? Oh well then, carry on.

    Aha, I thought the red figure looked like a younger Ulrich, but then I thought it couldn’t be because the purple figure was clearly him. But no such silly limitations exist in the mind. 🙂

Ok a thought. The glitch effect is always in green, red, blue. Everytime this happens there is always three of one. We know the toulouse at the start of the chapter was older? Had a white streak of hair at least. People phaze through doors and appear in different clothes. Green red blue, past present future? Time travel fuckery? Or at least time distortion?? Doesn’t explain the no sun thing but hmmmm… No need to confirm/deny, give hints or anything. Just thinking out loud, it’s been a long long time since a work has sent all my literary senses scrambling and I’m enjoying puzzling it out and also just enjoying the ride. Thank you!!
