He’s totally subconsciously making casting signs. He just /thinks/ it’s to get rid of repeating phrases in his head. Which are, incidentally, actual spells, which are why they get “stuck” in the first place. Magical subconscious compulsion.

That’s my theory and I’m sticking to it.

  I’m happy with how it turned out, I was really worried it would end up being too unclear haha. This is actually one of my own things, the actual movements aren’t usually very well defined and the Rules are a lot more abstract irl so I kinda just wrote in “explain this visually” and hoped I’d figure it out by the time I got to this page lmao

He was paranoid enough to insist he was going to do all of his own treatment before you managed to get this far. He ain’t trying to prove squat: he’s just still being paranoid.

Not sure if I should blame the target dummy for their crash, or hope they landed directly on the bugger. “How’s that for aim?”
