Is the shattered titan Noon? The “sea” the forest? I don’t know who the bride is, but that feast better not include any of our boys and girls >_>

  Noon seems a good candidate, although perhaps the Titan refers to starstone as a whole consciousness, pre-fragmentation?

Poor Toulouse, so confused with Ulrich’s response and he doesn’t even get a speech bubble to show for it.

Oh well, at least he gets almost-panel-sized speech….clouds. (Sounds like a nice consolation prize to me, anyway….)

  I actually went back through to try and figure out what the weirdest thing today WAS for Ulrich :p

    Their flying wooden boat powered by a sentient rock abruptly fell out of the sky. The captain tried to absorb their momentum to cushion their fall. This is also when Ulrich finds himself suddenly surrounded by a ton of pillows…to cushion him. (Still gets scissors in his shoulder, though.) Said ship was apparently in the middle of a conversation with their android, also partly made of the same sentient rock that powers the ship, who was remarkably unconcerned when her arm fell off.
    
    They’ve landed in a forest, and someone shows up to ask about what happened….and aforementioned captain immediately accuses him of having something to do with their crash, even claiming they spoke. (Oh and apparently when said librarian gets close to the bits of what’s left of the ship it starts vanishing around him.) The librarian also happens to have some first aid experience, too, for whatever reason. (Also no idea why he said he was getting out a target dummy and appeared to be looking at them as they fell. With possibly magically green eyes. And doing his hand-thing for repeating words non-verbally. Not that any of them know that happened.)
    
    That’s just the pages revolving around the crash itself, not even covering anything of their conversation with Davis. Ulrich probably has more than one option to go with for “no, this random librarian out in the middle of the woods also happening to be one of the more important people in the local religion isn’t the strangest thing today”.

      True enough… I was trying to figure out what, of all those things, would count as the weirdEST 🙂 (plus what counts as something Ulrich heard vs something he saw)

Did the community beat him until he “willingly” accepted Azusa? In the real world that’s often how tongue speakers are produced; beat the kid until they get the proper sort of brain damage.

And, to be clear, that’s not a statement about the use of force to compel belief; which is also bad. It’s a statement about the practice of physically damaging the brain of a child.

Ulrich is willingly traveling around with someone who’s got a wholeass Sun merged with her soul. You’re cute and all, Toulouse,but it’s going to take more than that to get an eye-rise out of anyone except for the star-powered robot.
