    I hate (h a t e) how chastised Toulouse looks… that’s a huge red flag and such a change from when he was talking to everyone else and I do. not. like it.
    
    Also not a fan of Lillian’s word choice “decent” – its super telling when a society values “””decency””” over kindness
    
    ALSO!!! WHAT DOES THAT MEAN *IF* THEY ARE GONNA STAY WHY WOULD THEY STAY HERE HERE *SUCKS* AND I’M NOT A FAN OF THE IMPLICATIONS

She really had me going. There were a few suspect moments in her interactions… but this is either not was I suspected from it or more extreme. It’s quite something.

I feel like the rest of this bit is going to go downhill, but… I am looking forward to her later interactions.

Also, Phin’s actions/words feel absolutely loaded with subtext lately ^^

I think it’s a “show, don’t tell” version of “buzz off”. Pretty subtle though, so missing it is understandable. (Ooo hey is she making the rain not hit her? That’s pretty neat. That’s not a literal “steaming mad” though, right? :/ )

Also, they might be “out of the rain” right now “thanks to you”, but I’m sure they want to spend as short of a stay as possible. (Don’t worry, it might not be your “hospitality”….yet.)

  I realized I’ve only ever talked about this in the discord, so yeah she’s repelling the rain haha. It’s not a well-defined ability but it’s usually just for things like this (or when she dried off during the hazard fight) so word of god is Commanders Can Just Do That for now lol

    My initial thoughts would be something like forcing a very high body temp (or air around her to be very hot) so it boils before it touches her…but it looks slightly more barrier-like, and I imagine superheating yourself just to keep dry in the rain would be rather unproductive (and possibly dangerous to yourself, depending on what kind of heat you can tolerate)…..
    
    Or maybe I just need to find the off switch for my brain again and stick to envying such a trick, however it works.

      uuuuusually i think about it in terms of like, a really weak little magnetic-type forcefield thing she powers with her footsteps, but yeah it’s just an inconsequential effect i ain’t thinkin’ about it too hard haha. if it ever DOES do something major and plot relevant i’ll figure it out but for now it just keeps her crunchy even in milk

This place is getting under Phin’s skin worse than Deccoden, and she nearly leveled an entire mansion there WHILE dealing with Agatha and the incoming Weathermen. I don’t think these people have any clue just how fucked they are if/when she and BrokenSpectre finally have enough of this passive-aggressive bullshit. 😬
