    I do this a lot actually! I think the last big obvious one I did was back on page 190 during Ellie’s transformation sequence. She was addressing the crowd, obviously, but that was right before things started getting a little heavier in this arc so I framed it in a way that might reassure the readers too. I like talking to you guys ᕕ( ᐛ )ᕗ

      Maybe you need more perceptive readers (besides smartypants Amaaré)–more perceptive than me, that is, since I did not pick up on Ellie’s little speech either! Man, I like thinking I am smart . . . quit bursting my bubble.
      
      Where is Ellie right now anyway? Is she putting out fires? I was honestly expecting her to be the one to come save Phin from the Tain this whole time . . . but obviously I was wrong about that.

So. Caught up -again.
Was really worth it, not at all the same thing to read again, reading all the comments and hovering-over-lines, discovering new details, understanding better because you know what’s to come…

So you can add a new quality to the long list I already made along in the comments: this comic stands very well being read multiple times. It even improves the experience. This calls for a printed edition sometime in the future…

Mind you, I’m NOT as old as Jocasta, but I’ve been reading comics for some decades now, so. Well, you know. This one is good.

  It’s going to be a little while, but I do PLAN on a print edition eventually! Some digital stuff, at least, is gonna be available in the store here in the next couple months if I can get it figured out. I’ll keep you guys posted here on the site when there’s anything to report!

I’m skipping back through the archives to confirm what I do and don’t recognize from the latest update, and got caught on this scene again. It’s still just yikes. (Also, I love that song, I heard it as the intro to the Mushishi anime and then had to go find the whole thing. “I robbed convenience stores cause I thought they’d make it easier”)

  It’s really good! The anime portion is nice but I really like the second verse because it’s like, weirdly desperate and a little bitter almost? It’s a shame most people don’t hear the whole thing too often I think it adds a lot of dimension hehe
