for those of you who pointed it out a very long time ago, yes, the arsonist in this comic was quite sloppy

Don’t know about sloppy, but he (Constance?) certainly doesn’t look very happy. Rather somewhat threatening, huh. Did Hazard send him or did he decide to welcome them by himself?

is ulrich’s mask the concept of an owl. I’m confused, as it doesn’t physically look like an owl, so it’s purpose must hold similarities to that of an owl, right? also ouch, looks like he’s not such a pretty face anymore, eh?

  Ulrich’s mask is a cross between a simplified owl design and a plague doctor’s mask! It’s likely there’s more too it than that, if we could get Ulrich to talk.

I mean, not that he didn’t deserve it, but Ray’s looking pretty messed up.
Wondering what the deal is with the giant snowball, it makes sense for an ice wizard’s house/ship I suppose, but presumably it serves some purpose other than stereotype.

  Ray, generally hated more than Hazard, who took over an entire town and enslaved the population to mine starstone for him, which he’s going to use to try to kill someone he used to be friends with, and likely other people too
