That’s what I was told.
ORANGE JACKET ORANGE JACKET ORANGE JACKET ORANGE JACKET ORANGE JACKET ORANGE JACKET ORANGE JACKET ORANGE JACKET –
now I can finally recognize phin
at this point hasn’t she gone a majority of the comic without it?
ooooh trust me, no one is more aware of how long it’s been since she wore it than me hhhhh. it’ll even out eventually~
♫When your woooooorld…
*cough cough* excuse me.
I wonder what those rabbits knew all along?
It’s good to see Phin now essentially migrated into her proper canon appearance. Scar, check, coat, check.
The boof is coming along nicely yes.
Just gotta get that belly covered up now hee
a panel of phin & ulrich holding hands for reassurance as the world falls down around them
go on without me, comment section
“ah, mausebar” “what was that you big lug” “the floor is disentegrating” “i know isn’t it exciting” “PHINEAS…!”
My money’s on Ellie is the one that shows up. Purely based on the fact that Musical notes in this comic tend to be styled after the people they’re sending for/receiving. (Phineas compass ringtone resembles her/Jocasta; and this musical note has Ellie’s fringe, bun and ears.
You remind me that I wondered at the beginning of this story if Ellie being a rabbit had something to do with the desert rabbits. Does Ellie have some more secrets yet?
Aw, holding hands. And we’re gonna see careful pete and the rabbits again, Yay! (also, kind of nice going back to the beginning of the arc, looks like the end is near…)
we’re SO CLOSEEE
Oh, just told her off panel. Boring…whatever.
Whole lotta nuttin – at first. (That’s when you should be worried about just how many things it just did: when your Deus Ex Machine Device has a delay.)
Haha sorry, I just usually don’t like to illustrate mundane like. Recap stuff? The audience already knew it and there’s plenty of exposition in this comic already, I assumed he would have mentioned it during the long walk to the ladder after what went down in the mine.
Well there was that time they were chatting walking into the building on the Artemis’….deck? But then we’d still be wondering what his mask was…hmm.
Still, it seemed like a detail important enough to be told on-screen. But eh, it’s mentioned that it was mentioned, so good enough I guess?
I was disappointed like you at first, or at least surprised, but in fact I love this. Knowing they talk even when we don’t watch them makes the characters more real and deep in my mind. And Aria’s story is already so long and so full of action (I don’t know any other comic where so many things happen in each page), I think it’s ok if some things are just implied like this. It was clear when we saw them speaking about the seven clovers that they had been speaking for a while before.
Yeah, but they obviously do talking behind the scenes. But that would’ve been such an interesting conversation!
U: “So, I may or may not have had some kind of hallucination about those rabbits, by the way.”
P: “Really? What happened?”
U: “They said to tell you ‘it’s a whistle’.”
P: “Odd thing to- oh. They mean this thing?”
U: “I don’t know! They said “we forgot to tell her it’s a whistle”. How am I supposed to know what they were talking about? I thought I was dead!”
P: “Yeah, but you weren’t.”
U: “The theory had sufficient supporting evidence at the time.”
And so forth.
That’s what I aim for with stuff like this! I like feeling like characters keep existing when we’re not looking.
It’s comic number 420 😎
