Why’d that bullet get her when she stopped the others? Was it because she wasn’t paying attention or didn’t react fast enough? Great comic, by the way. 🙂

  Yep yep, it takes a fair bit of concentration to deal with a bullet haha. It’s a useful trick but she has to be ready for it.

    It’s like what happened to Houdini. His abs were strong enough to absorb any punch, when he had them tensed. But, some guy caught him off guard with a gut punch, and Houdini died a couple of days later from a ruptured appendix. .

You know, he watched the fight earlier. I wonder if he assumed the bullet wouldn’t work and was taken a bit off guard here, or if he thought he could get around it somehow. Either way, not exactly how he expected it to play out.
