Hey thanks for visiting this page! Audience support is vital for indie comic success, I really appreciate your interest. Here are some things you can do if you’d like to help make sure Kidd Commander keeps tickin’ along.
Stuff you can do for free!
The easiest and most important way anybody can help an independent creator is to get the word out! Share creator posts, make fanart and goofy posts about it on tumblr, write a review, recommend it when somebody asks for new things to read; word of mouth from excited readers is pretty much the only avenue for getting comics seen anymore, so literally anything you can do to help is a big deal. In a similar vein, being active in the community by commenting, hanging out in the fandom spaces (discord, etc), contributing to things like the wiki or the TVtropes page, or voting on TopWebcomics is also massively helpful both for establishing a presence and bolstering an artist’s drive to keep working.
Where to throw your money!
As far as financial support goes, I have a few options for you! Probably the simplest is Patreon or Ko-Fi, where I offer several reward tiers if you’re interested in anything like that.
You can also set up a recurring donation through Paypal (If you email me your info you’ll still get Patreon rewards! Otherwise I’ll assume you’ve opted out.), or just drop a tip in there if you’re ever feeling inclined. And, of course, there’s always the shop.
Any method you choose is very helpful! But Ko-fi and Paypal take a MUCH smaller cut than Patreon does per month, if that’s something that bothers you. Essentially, I gotta be makin’ about 900 a month by December 2024 to continue working on it, so if you wanna see how this all shakes out please consider contributing. You can keep up with my monthly earnings and news and such in public posts on both Ko-fi and Patreon, which I usually link to under the update it drops closest to.
Since my supporters are pretty well scattered at this point, everybody gets informed about Stuff through a newsletter! This is new, and there isn’t a whole lot of stuff going on outside of paid content, but you can subscribe to get the free updates if you really want to.

What the hell is Respite?
KC’s universe doesn’t have Christmas, but folks there DO celebrate Respite, which is a period of a few days where everyone celebrates having stayed the hell alive to see the end of another calendar year. You party hard for the first several days, then on the last day you eat a lot and rest up for the new year. The postcards that go out in December usually come in this flavor!
I don’t offer it for the summer postcards, but during this season I’m willing to swap postcard bundles with folks in exchange for one from you!
