I dunno how many of y’all are in the area, but I’m tabling a little one day convention called JABEcon in Mount Juliet, Tennessee next Saturday if you wanna come out and see me! I’ll have books and posters and all that good stuff, and I was asked to run a webcomic Q&A panel so I’ll be doing that too. I’m considering taking next Friday off so I can make sure I have all my shit together, but I’m also real excited about this chapter so we’ll see how things are going when we get there I guess.

I’m not going to be able to do this justice but that panel about humans being small and inconsequential but doing horrific things partly due to their not really grasping the eternal perspective is amazingly close to being a description of the core of the “spiritual physics” of my personal religious beliefs.

Not that anyone needs to care, but that is awesome.

This has got to be my favorite story arc so far. I really get the sense of the enormity of the wrong that’s been done to Agatha. It’s literal enslavement and you do a great job of portraying that indirectly through the last few panels.

Missed this while I was at con. Just.. WOW!! Did not expect this to go in this direction at all. Methinks there is going to be a TIDAL WAVE of anger.. or a disappointed parting of the ways.

I can usually tell a story’s path well before reading. This is phenomenal.

Why yes, feeling pissed enough to want to rip off some heads is occasionally normal.

It’s just usually polite to, well….not follow through with that.
(Could probably try asking Phin for a sparring match if you want to blow off some steam, though.)

This seems a tad hypocritical, stars seem to understand more but that doesn’t mean much really, perhaps they aren’t animals like we are but they seem to think like them sometimes

  This is certainly true, since we’ve seen starstone feel plenty of feels before. It’s also a little weird because Lucky Noon has dealt with and embraced “humanity” a LOT more than most of their kin, to the point the others sort of think Noon’s lost all sense of reason, so they’re at some weird halfway point.
  
  Higher Lifeform type stuff in kc tends to view human characteristics (emotions, gender, etc) as primitive and ridiculous, so even if Noon’s grown in a different direction from that it’s a lot of conditioning to shake off. Usually it manifests as Noon being generally Above It All and condescendingly confident, but they’re certainly not immune to the unbelievable narcissism that comes with having thousands of years’ worth of life experience on everyone else haha
