I usually try to let y’all know a little more in advance but I did some rewriting, so Wednesday’s update is the last one in the chapter! I don’t have exact dates for you yet but I’ll be taking two weeks at least to try and get ready for the next chapter.

Also, for whoever it may concern, the teepublic shop is deactivated again and the shirts have been removed from my shop because I’m working on other methods of offering comics you can wear on your human body. Exciting!

  My current theory: for whatever reason, Agatha killed “mom”. Monty found stuff either in a wrecked or otherwise limbo-ish state, set Agatha to around where she was at the start of the chapter (maybe the birdkeeping is her though, or maybe just a distraction for her to help keep her from realizing how broken things are).
  Whenever Agatha starts realizing things are wrong, he resets her again, undoes whatever started to wake her up. They’ve been stuck with Monty in charge for a while, a really long while, people probably don’t even realize how long of a while (wonder what happens if you try asking somebody?) and he’s got no interest in the status quo changing.
  
  If that’s at all on the mark (tall order in and of itself), big questions would probably be what exact state he found stuff in (and how he took over), how long he’s actually been in charge (if it’s been a really long time like I’m expecting, how nobody has noticed), and what we’re most likely to find out….
  ….exactly how much collateral damage is going to get between Phin’s fist and this guy’s face?

Wait, wait. The only way we know about a robot killing its creator is through Agatha, right? Whose knowledge comes directly from Monterey, right?
I think I’m going to do some re-reading during those *two weeks at least*.

  She read the tour stuff off of the Decodenn wikipedia page basically. So, more like the knowledge of this is online. And she doesn’t know that it was her that did it both because she doesn’t remember, and Monty likely tries to keep most of the information about the incident a secret, so just ‘a robot’.

    yeah, you’re right. But still, Monty is the only one to know the truth, which might not be what he says it is.

      Strongly agree. I suppose that when you can basically reach in and changw the “killer’s” mind, and they’re the only other witness, the truth become what you want it too.
      
      Though I’m kinda waiting to see if I’ll be proven wrong, and find out Monty’s just bad at speeching.

“Not that you two didn’t have it coming” sure doesn’t sound like you’re discussing a murder and her victim Monty. Nor does the follow up for that matter. Guess what it does sound like though.

It sounds a lot like the ever popular lines like “everything I did, I did it for this city”.

I’m thinking she may not be the first, and her fusion may NOT be as cruel as we’ve been LED TO BELIEVE…

Sounds like our resident jackass has at least SOME justification, although the level of condensation still tilts towards arrogance and control.

This is becoming my favorite comic! As fantastical and meta as the plots are, it keeps coming back grounded in basic emotions and needs. I may not like every character, but I could see being friends with them!
