This arc has been my absolute favorite so far. I adore Agatha so much, shes such an amazing and well written character, and so was Monty. You did such an amazing job writing this, even the bitter sweet ending to it is great. Thank you so much for your hard work!

The last two pages really made me prepare for a long-ass montage of future pages where the pair of them have to try to convince Agatha to let go of her vendetta and come with them for a better purpose.

That is, until the last panel of the previous page.

I got to this one and suddenly, there it is again: the reminder that underneath this crew’s slapdash, devil-may-care adventurer veneer, there are titans scheming and plotting to overthrow the Sun itself and enact their own law on the universe. It’s always a jarring and sobering reminder and it’s done so incredibly well each time.

Aria, you’ve got such a talent for depth and portraying it in an engaging and powerful way. I just needed to gush a little over this arc and how you’ve so smoothly added such a wild and different character like Agatha to this party and made her fit with their agendas in a believable way that doesn’t compromise who she is individually. We all pretty much knew it was going to happen, and yet now that it finally has, it feels like a mic-drop from a seasoned pro story teller that’s got me trying to turn the page at lightning speed to see what happens next.

TL;DR, you done good, kid. I’m impressed and eager for the next chapter.

  Some of the characters are reeeally old, but the current iterations for the main crew were all developed together as a set specifically because I was worried about getting all these different personalities to mesh together. It’s also part of why I opted to take the long way around by introducing one at a time with their own arcs, in addition to giving me time and pages to learn how to handle bigger casts haha. I’ve second guessed this decision a million times for a bunch of reasons, but readers noticing positive effects and taking the time to talk about them makes it worth all the extra work.

I’ve been struggling a bit with the logistics for the next arc and I always get nervous when it’s time to start something new, hearing this sort of thing really helps. I’m gonna try to keep improving and hopefully have something even better for y’all next time!
