Heyyy I made a post for $5+ Patrons yesterday, but here’s a short version for everyone else: The supplier I’ve been getting my charms from seems to have completely vanished (along with my latest order, which included the ulrich sigils and some new pins I guess I’ll have to get somewhere else), whiiich means Patreon and the shop have changed around a little bit, and what’s currently in the shop is all that’s left of the charms. I’m sorry if you missed out on one you wanted! I really liked them and I’m super disappointed. I still have the files and all so when I have money again I might try and put it towards some new ones somewhere else, but for now I’m gonna focus my attention on stuff I can produce myself I think. As usual, I’ll update you as soon as there’s news.

So the mother / daughter dynamic changes, the roles reverse (at least on the ship) – but Jo stays Jo and dances between being forceful and obedient, managing bull-in-a-china-shop subtlety with mother-may-I? Well played, very well played indeed.

Jocasta bringing up an interesting point in this comic, which is it’s apparent subtheme of will and it’s influence on others. Hinting to Phin that even though she’s her mom, it’s still her house so what she says goes (her will).

Is Jo’s name Jocasta Hubris or Hubris Jocasta? Ulrich’s wasn’t reversed, so I’m confused

  It’s a big old shirt she uses for work, they were probably handing them out at an event she’s forgotten already or didn’t actually go to. We used to have a ton of those around when I was growing up.

(I can come up with far too many responses for him…problem is, not sure how well they fit his character. Which I’m sure he’d take as a compliment on his work.)

Phin’s not used to having authority yet, eh? (At least where Jo’s concerned, which is fair.) Heh. And Jo…”That was a serious question.” (Remarkably reprimanding considering how lighthearted the mood was……is?)

What’s the 986? Max temperature she can get a fire up to? (Assuming it’s not a killcount. Based on how Raven and Noon were talking, that sounds probably too low.)

  Jo might seem a little harsh, but they’ve been dealing with each other for years so Phin can tell when she’s actually upset. This was mostly just trying to drive home how important it is that Phineas not take her position of leadership too lightly now that she’s in one; especially in front of A Subordinate.

  Seems to be her bag, but you’re right, there’s some sparkle going on around it.

  It’s a bag of Stuff! Walking is harder with more mass to manifest, it was easier to pack it up at the house, store it in subspace, then conjure it back up once she got here.
