That moment when you apologize for habits then immediately act on habit again… I know it well.

It’s an odd feeling where you aren’t wrong per-se, but you also are. So very human.

The tensions in this chapter are powerful, feels like this’ll be a defining moment for their social dynamic.

  I’m glad folks seemed to like this scene! This was kind of meant to be the Breather before the back half of the arc gets going, I’m glad it was still fun in its own way hee

Now I’m imagining Agatha watching any TV show using either thr “I must keep this secret from you for your own good” or “people not talking to eachother leads to shenanigans” tropes. I imagine it would be a very sweaty and yelly tv warching session.

  I can totally see that. Ditto, I imagine, for miscommunication bits.
  
  Also, ugh… that is a big part of why I cannot watch any live-action romance and/or comedies. I swear it happens all the time -_-

    This is literally why I cannot watch most shows nowadays. Those tropes are EVERYWHERE and it completely ruins the viewing experience for me. I turn into a silent ragebeast.

Ouch, ouch. I can completely see why this is driving Agatha up the wall, and not only are Phineas and Ulrich not helping, they have used up all the available time before Plot drops on everyone’s head like a creepy god-haunted version of a Warner Brothers cartoon piano. She may not get a chance to choke an explanation out of her shipmates until much later, when they’ll hopefully be telling it all to Toulouse as well.

Panel 4: me anytime a comic is apparently all about reading between the lines and I’m just taking things at face value. (Give me about six rereads and I might pick some of it up, though.)

“holy shit dude I am going to beat you to death” – – see now Agatha is my favorite again! I love her, I love her, every time she expresses an emotion I love her. Also her frustration because Ulrich and Phin have already traveled together and so they are accidentally leaving her out of the conversation is so good. That’s some real friend dynamics right there, they often don’t mean to but it does happen. You make all your characters so engaging with such great chemistry

  It’s still really cool that people liked this scene so much, this like, back and forth between main characters is sort of what I was after from the start and this was the first time we had more than two in one place where they could all just Interact without any caveats? I’m delighted and relieved such a central theme I had been looking forward to went over as well as it did lakjsdf
