OKAY everything in the world has happened in the last month so here is a quick post:
-First, preorders for the special are happening! They’re open until December 11th, and you can get it here.
-Postcards went out slightly later than they usually do, but they’re out and should be getting to patrons soon! I hope you like them.
-If you’ve been keeping up with my social media and such you’ve definitely heard about this already, but since I haven’t officially mentioned it here yet: The university my spouse works for is preventing our insurance from covering my top surgery, which on top of several other setbacks due to comically spectacular incompetence has kept me in a much worse mental state than I’ve been in a hot minute (I do have a gofundme page up, the details of that whole mess are over there if you want them). Separate from that, my shitty family has been present in my life again because of an ongoing emergency. Finishing the special and getting it off my plate helped a lot and I’m really excited to get back to canon! But three solid months of constant boiling rage has taken a toll and I’ve made myself a bit physically sick, so like, I’m not PLANNING on it but if things slow down again just assume that’s what’s causing it.
All that said thanks again for being patient, the minicomics are goofy but it was really important to me that I got this one finished before we ticked over into a new year. There shouldn’t be any other like Artistic Commitments for a while now so it’s all canon pages as far as I can see baybee
-Lastly, I’m going to another con this month! Assuming it doesn’t get cancelled lololol. If all goes well, I will be tabling at Momocon’s Winterfest in Atlanta, GA on the 18th and 19th.
