Ok the scissors are very bad but still… its weirdly cute that noon tried to protect the squishiest member by shoving him in a room filled with pillows

Ooof… that end panel expression, very powerful. Reminds me of my own reactions to direct dealings with needles, injury, or other fears of mine, fear, weakness, shock, slow realisation… I think you captured the effects perfectly.

Impressive she could see the scissors from that angle. X-ray setting on the eyes, I’m guessing? (That or noticed from an angle not seen in that panel.) Also interesting that Noon could poof a bunch of pillows for him….but not unpoof the scissors so he didn’t get stabbed in the shoulder. (And he’s very belatedly realizing how he “tweaked” his shoulder there….and also very quickly changing colors in his face. Dun’t look gud, d’ere.)

  Noon’s sort of operating on generator power at the moment, it’s not their best work. Normally if they’d wanted Ulrich safe during a rough landing they could have just created a room unaffected by the momentum of the rest of the ship, hehe. We’re lucky we got pillows at all.
