EDIT 12/2: Hi! Two things, first: Volume 3 preorders are open!

Second, I think I’m actually going to take the rest of this week off from updating and resume on Monday the 9th. As is customary in my family the holiday was an absolute nightmare and I spent most of the last week in a pretty bad ocd spiral, which I’m pulling out of now but I’ve not gotten nearly as much work done as I wanted to during the break. “break” lmfao. I’m gonna take the rest of this week to finally get the script hammered out and get back to working on pages, we should be back in business just in time for Christmas to show up and do this again lol. y’all take care brb <3

Seems like something’s gone missing.

Unlike previous years I have a frankly ridiculous amount of holiday events to attend this week, and seeing as I still have a lot of thumbnailing to do for the next chapter and I’d REALLY like to get volume 3 preorders finished by the end of the year, I’m gonna just make the most of it and take another quick break from posting pages in the interest of Not Dying. Should be back to updating on December 4th! Postcards will still go out this coming Saturday, I really hope y’all like ’em. Here are the usual links, see you soon <3

Not Dying is a good thing. Just take the week of Thanksgiving, week after, and second week of December off to get all the other stuff taken care of. We will still be here when you start posting stuff again. Actually, just take December off completely from posting so you can spend the holidays with family and or friends and still get all the other stuff done by the end of the year.

  That’s kind of you!! I don’t think it matters how long I do this for, it’ll always feel like any time off is a death sentence for the tiny audience I’ve managed to scrape together haha
  
  I thiiink just the week and a half should do it, honestly I get weird when I’m idle for too long, and after the little hiatus between the first and second arc I think I’ve figured out three weeks is like the maximum amount of time I can go between posting pages before my mental health nosedives lmao. Not that I’m not going to spend most of this “break” doing work in the background anyway, but posting helps ground me a bit. comics is a strange business

    you can go ahead and take off more time for the holidays. it’s not about mental health, it’s about spending time with friends and family. you shouldn’t work over the holidays unless you want to or are bored out of your mind and need something to keep you occupied and away from that one annoying cousin that won’t shut up about their new girlfriend (who happens to be the 8th one this year).

    Can’t speak for anyone else, but I’ve stuck around for over a year waiting for other good webcomics to update. I’d do the same for this one. You’re a fantastic writer and illustrator. Take the rest of the year off for all I care. Might as well make a proper holiday of the Thanksgiving-Christmas season!

  No, they literally just crashed. Hence the massive “THOOM” in panels 2-4. The “overgrowth” is the debris from all the tree limbs they wrecked on the way down.
