i just don’t like other people touching my things

So last week my shitty outdated tablet quit on me, but I was able to get a new one and I’ve been using it exclusively since about Wednesday! There’s no way I would have been able to afford a replacement like this if I wasn’t getting support from you readers, my Patreon earnings covered more than half the cost of the new machine I’m using to make comics for you now. I just wanted to take a second to say how much I appreciate you guys! Between art equipment, advertising, and the costs of keeping the website up and running, every little bit really does help out a lot to keep the comic functioning well. I love being able to share KC for free but without your generosity we wouldn’t have a pretty website and I certainly wouldn’t have a nice new tablet to draw with. Thank you so much!

If I have everything straight, The Tain is essentially a sentient shadow cast by the star stone. Considering Phineas’s seems to have an affinity for light and is no longer commanding that cosmic douche this could get very intersting.

  This comment really makes me happy, partially because Pratchett coming to mind for any reason while reading my work is The Best but ALSO I’ve associated this quote with Phineas since she was just some loose notes in my notebook hehe. One of these days I’ll actually get around to reading that set of Discworld stories.

    Possibly my favorite quote of any Discworld book, and this scene really strongly brought that to mind. I’ve always liked the idea that no particular emotion is “bad” it’s just what you do with them.
