So uh, I noticed I was getting a lot of traffic from there and checked in on Topwebcomics after not doing so for a while, and as of right now KC is sitting at 129. That’s amazing you guys!! According to my handy dandy stat sheet TWC by itself has been responsible for almost half of all the new visitors to the site this month, which I found really surprising considering the banner art is outdated and the incentive sketch has been stuck for several months now, heh. Thank you so so much for your persistent support of my work, even if it feels like a tiny contribution every little share and like and vote really makes a difference when you’re as small as KC is. Growing a reader base from nothing is a long and frustrating process, but I always consider myself very fortunate that those of you who do stick around are so consistently positive and willing to help keep my comic going. Thank you for reading.

Ignoring the fact that she is a horrible person, I kind of want her to join the crew eventually. The inclusion of a token lawful/neutral evil person in an any adventuring party makes for some interesting dynamics, although I am unsure if it would work better if she joined after they have added 1-2 more people.

Also because of inevitable ice/fire dynamic and general usefulness of ice powers.

This hilarity has gone on too long.
I now lean towards Phin confusing the hell out of everyone by trying to recruit Eisse.

This is interesting, though. Eisse can also see Ulrich’s….eye. His slickness is literally magical.

And those last two panels are great. “I do know I’m one hell of a commodity. Your dad’s a dick, his offer was rudely given, and an insult besides. Phin’s offer is a team membership, not ‘you work for me’.” (Hell, she’d probably have the stage lightning crew as the backup dancers if they thought they could manage it.)
And her reply of “Ain’t that the truth” just….if it ain’t comedy gold, it sure as shit takes silver!

(PS: How long do you think before someone makes a comment on a crude interpretation about Phin’s “incentives”?)
(PPS: Is panel 3/4 the same guy who Ulrich was flashbacking to back in the mines? Uhh….here? Also, what does she mean in panel 3, anyway?)
