heyyy so that looks like a fun place for a chapter break. I have a LOT to do this break for reasons I’ll go over in a bit, but right now the tentative return date is October 31st! Halloween that’s easy enough to remember huh.

News!

I’m locked in for another convention in February! I’ll be tabling at Con-Nooga in Chattanooga Tennessee on February 22nd through the 24th. I’ve never done a three day con before! Spooky! I’m gonna try real hard to finish a brand new print-only mini comic for this one (which WILL be available for purchase online eventually because con exclusives are horseshit), and I’ll have lots of other fun stuff and also you can meet me if you want. i guess i am technically a con exclusive whoops

For those who might have missed it: the teepublic site has been deactivated because, if all goes well, I’ll be producing all the kc shirts myself from now on. I can do weird stuff now! More importantly they’ll be cheaper for y’all and more of those dollars will go directly to me instead of a printer. It’ll be a little bit before we finish getting stuff together but I’ll keep y’all posted.

It’s almost time for postcards again! Respite is creeping up on us, so here’s a reminder that you can get postcards and stickers from the crew for the low low cost of the pocket change in your couch every month. Here are the past year’s rewards, lovingly photographed by a loverly friend.

The end of this arc is just one long list of stuff that’s going to take forever to draw, pretty much like the end of the first arc was, so while I’m gonna do my best go stay on some sort of schedule it’s probably unavoidable that we’ll start straying back into Finale Time. Fortunately there are lots of ways you can keep up with updates without thinking too hard about it!

If you wanna be informed about updates as soon as they happen, keep up with sketches, art, and other things I do, OR you just wanna hang out with some chill folks and chat about KC (or Magic the Gathering Arena, we’re all pretty obsessed with that at the moment) join the Discord! Agatha is also there and she’ll even show you a cool bird picture if you’re nice to her. I also post a lot of KC fic on AO3 if you want something to keep you busy until updates start again, OR if you’re feeling spry maybe you’d like to add something to the wiki or the TVTropes page!

        Bleh. Was fine. Totally lucky, think the only read damage is a small part of backyard fence getting crunched. Other than that, just the noise and wind terrifying me like a poorly-buffering suspense movie. (On then off then on then off….)

I really appreciate Monty’s dialogue in this scene. He’s very clearly awful and abusive and wrong, and we can all see that, but the things he’s saying do make sense in a twisted kind of way, which is very well done for an abuser, and it’s so chillingly effective, not just to Agatha the character, but to the readers as well. You can alllmmooossst feel like he actually cares, and is actually helping. You did an amazing job writing this 😀

I’ve read very precious few dialogues that gored me in the feels and incited so many emotions in me at once as this one has. The last 4 pages have been absolutely thrilling and horrifying to read and I am just in awe at how well-done this exchange is.

You should be very proud of yourself. And more people should read this comic. They’re seriously missing out on something amazing.
