Geez… Those expressions. Myla, Agatha and Phineas all seem so full of life and emotion, and Ulric… there are traces of the fight he’s been through, poking through an otherwise relaxed visage, but it can compete with Zula’s. Something about that final panel screams age and exhaustion, but whispers something more.

I am curious about her confidence and… threats. She either knows something we don’t or knows a lot less than she seems to, and I’m hedging my bets on the former.
Despite her seemingly stereotypical pencil-pusher-villain attitude, she feels like someone not to mess with,

  hehe i love this comment. Phin and Ulrich went back to the ship to clean up and rest for a little bit before coming here during working hours, but Ulrich didn’t sleep much last night either way

Oh yeah, Monty was a complete asshole in how he treated Agatha. And now you’re just going to blame it on her for existing.

I’ve half a mind to say you deserve one good slap before they leave…..though after that I haven’t seen a reason yet that they can’t be polite about leaving.

(Curious as to what kind of favor they’re supposed to have done though. Rescuing Agatha? Getting rid of a figurehead they may or may not have actually cared about/for (past the part where he was writing the paychecks)?)

  Probably for killing the insane despot and “escaping” before justice could be done. It allows the council to enact a regime change while still appearing legitimate and gets rid of an unstable element that was causing their reputation damage (Monty had those underground fight pits he pumped with rage toxins, and was filling the atmodome with pacifying pollen). Now he’s out of the way and the council’s hands are quite clean in the whole affair.

      I wonder how much things will change compared to before other than who the person behind the Monty mask is, though.

    The “fight pit” didn’t seem too underground except in location, though the extra influencers probably weren’t league standard. (Could be wrong on that though.)
    
    The big question to me, though, for all of what you mentioned…..is if they keep using the pollens or not.
