hi ho

This story had been festering for something like twelve years and I honestly never thought I’d get it out of me. I’m already working on the next thing, as per the webcomic pace, so I don’t think I’ve actually grasped that Analog is done. I’ve been carrying all of these characters and things for so long I think I still can’t really make sense that kc as a whole is out there in a way that other people can interact with. I spend most of my time unable to explain myself or connect, but I feel like I say exactly what I mean when I abstract it and attach it to cartoons with unrealistic hair styles, so thank you very much for reading what I have to say.

Over the next week I’ll be posting a travel sketch like I did last time the arc ended, then we’ll get the intro chapter cover, then if all goes well we can expect the first proper pages for our next jaunt around November 3rd. Maybe earlier if I’m feeling ambitious, but I’d sort of like to get Volume 3 mostly ready to send out for proofs in the next couple weeks so we’ll see how the work goes. Patrons have already seen a little bit about it, but I’ll let you know here as soon as I’m ready to start taking preorders and give everyone plenty of time to get those in.

A Perfect Last Page.

I particularly like the effect on noon crossing the door, and agatha’s look to the maybe-patron-saint. The rain and lightning are really good too.

Congrats on the milestone! Actually making a comic is so much work, and you’ve done an amazing job! This story and the characters are so unique and interesting and I love how things have been going, I cant wait to see what else you have in store! Wish I was better with words so I could properly express how cool this comic is XD

And, at long last…a shower, to wash away what pain it can, as you depart from what you once called home. Even the sky is happy to see you out and about: lightning striking a grin, thunderous clapping….tears of joy flooding the view.

(Okay it’s not exactly a great grin but have you ever tried teaching lightning to look happy?)

I just found this comic a couple of months ago. As a trans person whose abusive family left me with no ability to feel a feeling for more than a decade this story arc was such a punch in the gut that I did not expect… or regret. It was a very therapeutic read. So thanks for making such a powerful comic.
