If Toulouse is correct and this timeline is already beyond saving, I’d say he’s got his priorities as well-sorted as anyone else at this point.

Not much else to do but attempt to lay a bit more foundation between himself and Ulrich before it all resets and he has to try yet again.

  There were a few lines I cut for time and clarity where he mentions he also makes a point of meeting with Ulrich like this when he can because being close is One Nice Thing Toulouse gets to have during all this mess, so you’re not far off the mark at all here haha
