I forone, am loving this plot line. I love the exploration of religiousness that is actually complex and nuanced. Im also super confused about what exactly is happening, but thats likely just cause Im a lil dumb some times 😀

I really love everything about this page. The pose, the colours and their positioning, the title, the tattoos and fingers and cords and hair… I think this might be one of my faves so far <3

So I know I’ve been a lurker, not a commenter. But I did want to chip in with my two cents that this current storyline has felt, hands down, like a knock out of the park.

I admittedly don’t really read the comments, so I don’t know what kind of feedback prompted the recent step back — I’m sad to hear it, but only in the sense of “I’m sad that someone made you feel that way about your best work to date.” Good on you for enforcing boundaries.

Every word you write rings hauntingly true with the realities of evangelical Christian eschatology in America right now. It’s a terrifying place to be, and the way that Toulouse remains soft and continues to reach and reach and reach for the ones he loves is both deeply warming and profoundly human.
