Ah!
“I never even thought about just running away” and “You got us breakfast too??“… How much time do you spend on each sentence? Do they come to you naturaly? (I don’t really need an answer to that, anyway, I’m just in awe). They look so finely honed…
I think I’m jealous, I never could make a dialog with so much life in it. And with such a direct expression, so simple…
And don’t think a minute that I underestimate what the art adds to it. Third panel is wonderful. For instance.

ah jeez, thanks a lot dude. I actually work really hard on my dialogue because I feel like I have a much better handle on words than I do art, so I try to make up for it by getting the most out of the words that I can, if that makes sense? Also the characters are the most important thing in the story in my opinion, and most characterization comes from how each person speaks and how they choose to speak to others, so I try really hard to get it right.
Seriously, that you’re digging it means a whole lot to me~

Well, your hard work’s definitely worth it. It shows. And don’t doubt: you have a fine handle on art too.
Did you redraw some characters meanwhile? I thought some expressions were really better now, but it might be because I use a bigger screen (main reason why I began to read this again now, by the way).
I agree on making the characters be the most important in a story. While yours looks rather original, there aren’t so many stories in the world, and they’ve all been told a couple time… But there are many, many, people, and many ways to live the same story…

The characters designs have definitely evolved as I’ve improved at art over time, but I never go back and change anything in previous pages unless it’s like a typo or something. Other than being resized to fit the new website these pages are all the same!
aaand yep yep, this is exactly the way I approach things!
