How long has the Tain been around anyway? The italics imply it’s caught a “Teller” before but never a false one. This could mean Ulrich uses a rare type of magic that the Tain hasn’t had the chance to eat yet. Just a theory.

  The Tain manifests wherever there’s a lot of natural starstone, which means they’re probably roughly the same age. SO it’s safe to assume they’re Real Old.

What IS a “Teller” anyway? And what’s the difference between one and a False Teller? Would it be like if Ulrich were just born that good with words, and he’s a “False” one because he was trained instead? Or am I completely off the mark?
