So, the “I am the master of my fate” route is the most logical, and desirable, path for Ulrich to take here, but somehow I can’t help feeling like that’s a bit redundant in a series about a girl with perfect control over her own existence.

      Heee I’ve always considered Phineas to be a rooster, but you’re always welcome to your own interpretations. An ape beating its chest also seems pretty fitting to be honest! I always put a Primeape on her pokemon team
      
      A friend of mine who reads the comic said they always think of her when they see tiny fat birds who chirp REALLY loudly, like they think they’re bigger than they actually are. It’s always neat seeing how people perceive my stuff

        Considering the way the first couple of pages goes, a rooster seems….way too appropriate to not be used to describe at least one of the characters.

Fighting only makes it more difficult, now that’s a challenge. Phin absolutely would see it as one, Ulrich…I’m guessing he’s reading between the lines more.

  I kind of see commanding sort of like how building your muscles works. When someone exercises their muscles tear slightly all over and then reform to be able to take and give more punishment. You have to break what’s already there so it can grow into something better.

Those suspiciously aquamarine bushes at their backs in the first panel – the same color as her hair and I think her aura – definitely impose an idea of her being in control here.

This page is very much Eisse’s colour scheme. I like how you utilized the background to wordlessly depict the power imbalance 😀
