  I think I said this before when Major Tom…bunny…and Ulrich had their argument, but I’ve had this discussion before. Usually when someone attempted to enact some violence against me that I had enacted against someone else, and knew how and why such things tend to end. “I know why you are doing this. Your reasons are bad and you should feel bad. I know I do, and did. Grow up.” Etc.

Panel 5 Condemning/Judging Ulrich looks down at you. And damn, does he do it well.

The rest of the page feels like a The Reason You Suck Speech directed at her, maybe himself, and probably anyone who would work with her, all at once, which is also pretty impressive. His impassiveness about the whole thing (especially in the first two panels) is just glorious. (Though I get the feeling Phin would feel disappointed about this for some reason and want to help “better” him in some way or something.)

Also guessing based on that last panel, Ulrich’s old acquaintance (we need a name drop already!) isn’t actually there, possibly just random hallucination or trick of the eye in Ulrich’s head, probably helped by the Tain having recently screwed around in there.

(PS: Gratz on 400, though this being so gratz’d over it makes me hope I can just find the one in four pages from now. :P)

Congrats on 400! it feels like way more ’cause the pages are so densely packed with plot details and character development and Eisse gETTEN STRAIGHT UP WRECKED BOTH PHYSICALLY AND MENTALLY DAM ULRICH CHILL I GOT NO ESSAY LONG THEORIES THIS IS JUST STRAIGHT UP AMAZING.

  thank you! I’m self conscious about the length of this arc honestly, but I’m glad to hear it feels like we’re getting shit done with all these pages at least. I’m really trying to focus on more efficient storytelling going forward so we can get to The Good Stuff asap hehe.
