Man at first I totally thought that was the bottom of the tower just from an upside down view for some reason. Looks a little too ground like. (Ignoring, obviously, the actual ground is all sand now….)

Interesting that it happened not when Hazard died but when he was separated from his star. Could someone without a star own/use a starship? Probably not, then.
I’m wondering where the big dip sea with the beach is inside this ship.
And also, if the people in town remember the mine, the fire, the blazing guardian…

  You could totally pilot one without having a star yourself! The logic here is Artemis was here sort of against his will? Which is weird for several reasons, like ship hearts don’t usually have wills of their own, and a starstone will should DEFINITELY be able to resist a human’s. Hazard was using his own star power to override Artemis’, which is why Artemis couldn’t escape him annnd why Hazard was able to block him out during the fight even though they were still on Artemis’ ship. So once the star was gone, Artemis was prompt about getting out of dodge.
