I choose to believe that the “other stuff” Phin references here is all the crazy shooching they are doing just out of shot in that last panel and you can’t tell me I’m wrong!

I.. what is that ladder, seriously. *zooms in* It seems to consist of multiple broken-off table legs, crowbars, a shovel, assorted broken pieces of wood, a rusty katana blade (just the blade), a metal pipe, and a single regular piece of ladder bar.

I’m mostly basing this off the various meta stuff in the comic but in the extras gallery you can see the souls of Phins crew, 6th from the left is the same symbol that’s on Ellies wand (shown back when the bar lit on fire)
