This whole conversation has shown a lot of the past relationship between Jo and Hazard, they interact in a way that shows how used they are to each others reactions.

I’m also really liking the use of powers as displacement activity during an argument, that’s absolutely something that would happen if you had those abilities.

  Aaah thanks, I’m really glad some of it’s getting through. I love Gideon and Company to death and I’ve always been sad their story doesn’t get told a little more than I get to tell it. It makes me think a lot of A Series of Unfortunate Events, like with the whole VFD happenings around the main characters. I’m feeling retroactively frustrated for the author now that I have my own set of Interesting Older People we never get quite enough information for haha.

      Nah! It’s just a little tic, like scribbling curlicues on a pad of paper while you’re having a discussion. The sudden shift in her mood is because his caustic remark is a lot more like his old self and it caught Jo off guard.

Interesting. Also, Aria, are we going to get any more music playlists for characters? I absolutely love Phin’s playlist, and it introduced me to Madeon, which is very rad.

  Aah thanks! The playlists are like a super self-indulgent thing for me so I’m always excited when other folks like them. Madeon is pretty much the exact sound I have in mind for Phineas so it’s really cool that’s what you got out of it hee
  
  Each of the main cast will have their own playlist on the site, but I do have sets for pretty much every character/scene/everything I just use for myself. I make temporary pages for them sometimes and share them on twitter when I’m feeling spry, but I’ve been asked about this a few times now so I might post about them here too when I do them.

    out of curiosity, what type of music is the Tain into?

      Ooh gosh I’m gonna talk a little bit because I never get to talk about this.
      
      The Tain is weird because they don’t reeally have any sort of personality left themselves except for “I want to eat everything,” so their behavior manifests differently depending on who or what they’re possessing. So like, the version we saw while they were using Phineas was really different from what we would have seen if they’d picked Ulrich instead. So with that in mind, here are a few things I listened to a lot while I was writing Tain!Phineas for those segments. http://kiddcommander.com/?page_id=1811
      
      I know some of it is pretty “Scene Kid In 2008,” but this is just an informal little personal list so it’s not as polished or cohesive as the uh “official” ones, haha. Some of the tracks are lined up to be on other lists in the future, so don’t take this one as Super Canon or anything.
      
      (I was trying for gross and overbearing so naturally some of the lyrics might be kinda mean. I doubt that’s gonna bother anyone who’s read this far, but I always like to put disclaimers on this stuff just so no one stumbles on anything they don’t want to.)
