The Starstone ‘markings’ (i’m not quite sure what to call the disconnected eyes and mouths) are different with this stone, they look more chalky, and less solid. It could be thats what the Tain looks like out of it’s natural dark environment, or maybe the art style changed slightly; but I think maybe after hanging out with Crow for “like seven breakups” it’s either way weaker than what Phineas fought in the mines, or its got a bit more control over the Tain, and it’s trying to restrain it long enough so Phineas can sort shit out. Which is why it’s all disconnected and not a single entity.
The ship doesn’t seem like it’s trying that hard though.

I sort of forgot that Phin doesn’t know who Raven Hazard is in relation to the Jo and Crow co.
Good to finally know that this is the same ship after all.
As usual this still brings up more questions as to the nature of starstone “ships”, since it sounds more like it’s only being a ship in certain respects because it either feels like it or is being told to.
Great page btw, well done on the way reality is coming apart here.

Hm, Phin’s shadow is quite large here, I wonder if that’s why the starstone thought she was so much bigger? Although it still doesn’t really look big enough to warrant shouting at, so perhaps it was looking at her aura or something
