Ha, it almost was actually. This sequence went through a lot more editing than normal and that last panel was one that I couldn’t get to fit quite right while keeping the stuff that comes afterward spaced correctly. It happens sometimes! Comics are weird.

  It’s like a season ending cliffhanger in the middle of a sentence. (And possibly a plot keystone or other type of wham line. Though it’s not nearly as long a wait (RIGHT?!), but it’s the only the first word of the sentence too! 🙁 So cruel…)

I’m gonna be 100% honest and admit this one was so late because my schedule got hella fucked by the new zelda game coming out right when my partner got a week off from work. i’m usually a lot better about slacking off for dumb reasons like that but the flesh is weak sorry y’all

      I catch up with webcomics when I can and when I realize there are updates. Didn’t really notice the page was late. 😛
      
      And I don’t have the new Zelda because I don’t have a Wii U. I did however get Horizon: Zero Dawn, and it was great. Huge reason I wanted a PS4 was that (it was on, like, every list of “games expected to be great coming out soon” I could find) and it might not be worth buying a PS4 just for it alone, but it was awesome. (It is mildly annoying like it’s Dark Souls Lite when fighting some of the tougher machines, because you pay attention to details, or suffer. It’s the Lite version though since I could barely stand Dark Souls but this was great.)
      But anyway, it was great. (You can hunt a mecha sabertooth about your height with a laser machine gun on it’s neck in rain so hard it’s going almost sideways…with a bow and arrow. Or maybe 2-3 of them since it’s not likely to be alone. (Take that, Hawkeye!) Or hell, if you want, just stick to a spear, and that’s it. Or use a sling, or tripwires, or sneak up on one of them to turn it against the others, or take the cannons off and use them yourself, or…heh. ^.^ Game was worth it! I wouldn’t recommend rushing the main quests though, especially since some of the sidequests help in the very end….and just running around the wild hunting machines and wrecking them all is fun.)

Yeah! It’s not impossible to close a circuit when you’re just a few feet off the ground but it does make it more difficult.

It’s also just real uncomfortable I’d imagine.

  well not to get all personal about it but i’ve known wannabe saviors like gideon from time to time, both related to me and not.
  
  and when they mess up, they mess up on a level that /feels/ personal, even when it’s not.
  
  remember jo flashbacking to gideon bringing her phin? i don’t have the page number off the top of my head but “i couldn’t let go of her hands”.
  
  for better or worse, gideon has a lot to answer for.
