Oh wow! I’m pretty sure Dash is some kind of minor entity, and it looks like the whistle is made of the same stuff/from his horns? Sort of raises some questions about gods and any materials they own, I’m assuming there isn’t the celestial equivalent of a thrift shop and since Hastur made her own face scarf I think most gods make their own stuff.
More interesting is dashes eye, a singular eye in the middle of his face. Left eyes seem to be aligned with cold, dark, moons while right eyes are accociated with hot, bright and suns. Because Dashes eye is in the middle, you would assume that (and by extention the rabbits) are a neutral party. So why help a potential Sun God? Then again, Ellie is a servant of Hastur, and a right eye herald..
Also I am 100% sure Dashes five eyebrows mean something I just don’t know what yet.
Aria
the idea of Hastur sitting there making her own clothes is so goddamn funny holy shit thank you for this gift
Ulrich you are not the only one.
A giant jackalope/rabbit god/thing shows up and catches you out of the sky, there are bound to be questions.
That aside, just how many varieties of sentient bun does this world have??
Aria
so many
Sandman366
Wow. His name really is Pete? (Also, he looks seriously happy.)
Ulrich, that’s a terrible landing. I think your main source of points is that the hat didn’t stick with you but still looks like it might land on your head. (Wait, is that a poker chip still on the bottom of his shoe?! (It looks more red than I remember…) Is the thing just cemented there or something??) And he ends the page very unsure how to play things, staling to catch up…
Panel 8 Phin is pretty funny too. (Wonder what it is Dash needed see. Something about Phin, or that Ellie was next to her?
I presume Eisse just teleported out at some point? (Probably trying to reach Dusk for help since that just went so not the direction she was expecting.)
Aria
It’s the one he put back in his shoe after he used it to fake out Eisse back here! There WAS a blue one, which was the bomb he used to blow up Eisse’s hand so it’s not here anymore. The blue one gets planted somewhere, the red one is hooked into a mechanism in his shoe that lets him warp back to wherever he dropped it. They’re paired up specifically so he can use them to get out of tight situations, exactly like he did earlier, but he IS gonna have to find time to rig up another blue one hnn
Sandman366
:O It’s a return warp?!
Man fictional characters get all the cool toys….so not fair…
(So one’s an emergency exit and the other’s a great way to make a mess as the exit is used. Huh, interesting.) Nice to know those two actually have set uses instead of just whatever, like those dice. (Almost like they’re Deus Ex Machina dice, I swear…. :P))
Rolled them, and out came an upvote. How does Ulrich get all this stuff in these dice?!
Aria
Ulrich’s Amazing Powers of Luck do kinda break the game sometimes, it’s the buff he gets in return for being so horrifically underpowered next to all these gods and shit haha. It seems kinda random rn since we’re so early and haven’t seen everything he can do yet, but I DO have set limitations for how his gadgets work! a die only has six sides even in kc
