Hey, there are three updates left in this arc! I am letting you know this now because once this one is finished I’ll be taking a little break to build up a buffer and polish up some stuff for the next one. I’ll let you know more details about dates and stuff as soon as I decide what those are <3

The teeth person turned out to be Dusk! What I thought were epaulettes were actually just really fashionable dresswear! How amazing!

Also: they’re at Kairos Crossing I think! I thought this place would be more in space and less of a city to be honest.

Dusk reminds me of the Tain for some reason.

    Cool! I was on yesterday and played a bunch of matches in rankes with someone using an “Aria” nickname, I think they were using a wasabi splattershot, thought I’d check and see if it was you.
    
    I was using the tri-slosher exclusively yesterday, but I usually rotate between that, vanilla nozzlenose, vanilla splatter scope, and zink mini splatling.

      ah it wasn’t me! I was drawing comics ALL DAY yesterday haha. On the old splatoon I used to go by Shinesurge, so if the sequel uses the same system for multiplayer names that’ll be me =)

Dang, I feel kinda bad for her now….(and Dusk doesn’t seem to care at all. Just put an “Asshole of the Year” plaque on his desk, no need to spell it out that….well, painfully.)

And just that “angel” makes it look like Phin’s basically going up against The Empire with almost nothing, certainly not any worries or cares at least. Her crew’s gonna need to be, like, more badass as she is now, each, and herself worth at least as much as the rest combined, just for them to get through the front door, aren’t they?

  I get the feeling the ship is nothing like as fragile as it looks, and not for internal structural reasons.
  The way I see it, it really doesn’t matter what a starstone ship is “made of”, because it’s not really that material at all, it’s formed from the combined imagination of the stone and the captain, it’s strength and cohesion is more likely tied to that than any apparent physical construction.

also I feel you, so many sources of information on alchemy or like, symbols in general are just NUTS. It’s not a “real” science exactly so it’s difficult to find concrete details more often than not

So on reread, I realized Dusk is def one of the people who reacted on page 413. Aside from the freckles, there’s not a strong resemblance to the person in the picture on 419 (Mags?) but we’ll have to wait and see.
