“I can show you the world”
[no]
“Shimmering, shining, splendid”
[no]
“Tell me, android, now when did
you last let your heart decide.”
[now you’re just being rude, I don’t have a heart.]
“I can open your eyes.”
[I see just fine, better than fine. Want to see my specs? They’re unbelievable.]
“Take you wonder by wonder.”
[I WONDER when you’re going to take the hint.]
“Over sideways and under…”
[I get motion sickness…]
“on a magic carpet ride”
[I said n…wait, magic carpet? ok, I’m in]
I would say “Remember what Raven said about Crow and selfishness.” but, since commanding is built on confidence…maybe not the best idea? Though, as she isn’t presently fighting for her life, some soul searching might be in order.
Gaisa
I’m more concerned about how Agatha’s glitching out around Phin…
Watto
Agatha’s speech bubbles are really cool 🙂
Aria
she opens her mouth and dial-up sounds come out
Carcharadon
I’ll honestly be thunderstruck if anyone she recruits just says OK SURE instead of resisting her for a chapter or so before finally falling into her orbit.
Aria
“falling into her orbit” is such a nice way of putting it
Chromoid
To be honest it’s really the perfect description for the effect Phin has on people she attracts/is attracted to. She literally is a Star, and Stars tend to draw almost any other celestial body they come into contact with into orbit around them… Or into a collision with them.
I think this is a fairly apt way of describing Commanders as well. They’re not just powerful in the sense that they can warp and shape reality itself, but also in their natural charisma and dominance over other lifeforms.
Aria
😀 there ARE good reasons why phin’s entourage is labelled as a satellite system on the cast page
