Considering Tain’s past actions, this….semi-docile, almost pet-like form seems weird. (Though considering what’s it’s apparently supposed to be the shadow of hasn’t really been/felt like itself in ages. So maybe there’s a connection? Wanting to experiment seems dickish but does sound like it needs more data.)
Also curious to ramifications of starstone-powered android. (Hey, when someone says this particular AI really is sentient (and should qualify as a person), it’s not a joke, ya jerks!) Though why would she need to be plugged in to anything? Powering “restraints”, keeping her from realizing what she is? (SO. MUCH. QUESTIONS. ABOUT. EVERYTHING. (Like for serious how long has she been like that and when the hell did Monty build the shell?? (OH WAIT is he feeding off of her for his own kind of immortality? Was the “one violent crime” of the city those two?? (QUESTIONS!))))

I’d say Agatha looks kinda odd here but that’s probably intentional. (Mostly 4 and 9. No, mostly 9. Think it’s the eyes, there. Looks really weird to me for some reason.)

  Her eyes at least are different in this scene, she’s switched to simpler dots instead of the usual robotic eyes. BUT you’re probably not wrong about panel nine either, I always have trouble with expressions where the irises are in the middle of the eye haha.

    A few years ago I was in Equatorial Guinea when the summer solstice happened…the lack of shadows was more unnerving than expected.
