    Oh, he’s still assuming the whole “heartbound” thing is truthful.
    
    Which….considering….I thought he said he found her, meaning it makes no sense for him to be the only way of keeping her alive. Even if that were truthful, it must have some kind of loophole to get her back, right? (Especially since this isn’t just normal tech, it’s got Starstone mixed in rather thoroughly.)

    Back on pg 29 of Chapter 15, Agatha mentioned Decodenn’s founder was Monterey the 1st – given everything we’ve seen of Monty since then, one wonders if the city founder Monterey and the recently deceased Monterey were perhaps the same person..?

This ain’t chess, Ulrich. That would imply a simple battlefield, equal starting resources, and waiting for your opponent to make a move every time you make yours.

This was tourists suddenly deciding on a little regicide. In the middle of a very well-crafted defensive position. (Except for the part where the guy kept egging them on at every other meeting. Seriously, kinda makes me wonder how long he would’ve managed to keep the place without so much brainwashing…..)

I thought of an interesting idea: Commanders seperate their mind, body and soul but keep them aligned through their ambition, is there any reason that the same set of mind, body and soul continue to be aligned? Could several sets interact and result in diffrent sets of the same parts?

  WHAT A GOOD QUESTION. I won’t get too into the weeds about it just yet but I will say we’ve sort of seen this kind of thing already, when Phineas’ soul was dragged into the starstone, and when she houses extra presences like she did just now during this fight.
