hello friends sorry for the radio silence i crashed REAL hard after the last page went up and im still not really out of it but lol what can u do

the next update is six pages and it’s going to be A Lot, even aside from dealing with brainthings. i’m gonna try to get it posted around August 19th, but if there are delays i’ll let you know here or in the discord. after that i’d planned on going back to the regular schedule, but it’s looking like that’s going to depend on what my mental state is when we get there lmao. no hiatuses planned or nothin, just running a bit slow. but i might also perk back up in the next ten minutes! who knows! certainly not me

  It’s a brush! I love dreadlocks but I don’t really have the time to put in the detail they need on regular comic pages, too bad I didn’t find a good tool for them sooner haha

  I appreciate that! Honestly doing the comic is really grounding for me, the “I want to make kidd commander” drive has pulled me out of some dark places all on its own. I feel much better when I’m working so this sudden lack of confidence has been bizarre.
  
  All that said I promise I’m not going anywhere and none of my instability actually has anything to do with kc, I’m certainly not losing interest or anything haha. I know “taking a break/slowing down” has been a death sentence for a lot of webcomics so I just like to be clear that’s not what’s happening when things like this come up
