So this implies that every walker has a different sort of aura/cool teleport catchphrase? Interesting… I’m a sucker for creative magic systems, and KCs magic system has been consistently intriguing and just generally awesome.

Yup! Some of them are similar but no two of them feel exactly alike since no two people are exactly alike. Most of the magic in KC has this sort of Signature thing attached to it in some way (like how Phineas feels Bright or Hazard felt Heavy), but walkers are extra flashy since you can pick up on them right before and after they walk. It goes the other way too, the description in panel 7 wayyyy back on this page is what Jo feels from Raven.
I appreciate that!! I approach it like, aside from plot-relevant things we don’t necessarily sit down and go through an itemized list of how everything works IN canon but I know exactly what everything does so ideally it’ll stay consistent enough for the audience to suss out the details after they see them enough. imo this makes the world feel a bit bigger and sort of autonomous, like this stuff still happens while we aren’t looking, but I know the downside is it can leave a lot of readers feeling confused so it’s always good to hear when someone’s enjoying it
