Ulrich has a lot of thoughts. I don’t remember him having multiple internal voices before this, just talking to Bel and hallucinating and seeing magic vines and um okay I have no idea what’s going on in there. But it’s interesting to see him consciously analyzing everything.

  While I do LOVE Disco Elysium very much and usually like to own up to the stuff I lift from other places, this Ulrich bit has been planned about as long as this arc has been in the works, since around 2014 hehe. Comics are slow..

      laksjdf yEAH the brainrot’s been pretty bad since I played it hehe, I think the reason I latched on so much was BECAUSE it was nice seeing someone else’s inner monologue that feels so similar to my own? I have trouble finding representations of “fractured” psyches that aren’t like edgelord ableist kind of things so I really enjoyed it, and again it’s so kind of you to draw comparisons even if it’s just through osmosis pff
