Ends of a string, constellation and a star without its center.
It's amazing how much the current visual moments convey, that I feel like, even without the dialogue, I'd just… get it. The quality is so high 🙂
I've got a feeling things are about to go atypically atypical.

i reread the last couple pages but i still cant figure out whats going on. the flavour text on the last page implies that the sun isnt actually a sun, which is the "it" that reached, and then maybe thats the hand that pulls out the orb? but then Gideon has it while sewing something shut with a string? or is it Gideons hand pulling out the orb, and the other thing is reaching metaphorically? or is the sun/god/afterlife Phineas was staring at Gideon the whole time? does anyone have any theories?

I'm reminded of mentions of "the sliver of infinity" from Bandon Sanderson's "Mistborn"

Phineas I don't think the words you're using are quite describing the sensation of what I'm seeing
Which is honestly understandable but uhhhhhhh
That looks like it hurt the most something could
Deeply curious about how Gideon knows what to here- was his experience similar? Has he done this before? How old IS he, and how many commanders has he made?
Also it looks like he just palmed Phineas's soul before the sun ate them so that's cool I have actually infinite questions
