I may like Gideon more now than the first times I saw him, but he set the bar pretty low, and I'm not above sassing him for that 🙂 Besides, those reasons aren't, I'd say, the worst to start.
It's nice getting to see more of Mana here, to get to learn about her. Mana sort've gets, funny enough, overshadowed by Phin in previous scenes. Even scenes featuring Mana previously felt more about their relationship, than about her. Seeing Mana now, It's hard not to like her 🙂
I read this page and look at it over and over, it's so good. I like particularly the colours, but also their positions in the second panel, and Mana's expressions in the second to last one as she realises what's happening to her.
And of course, obviously, the gender lore 😀
