Volume 3 preorders are open! I still don’t have a hard date from my printer, but regardless of what it ends up being you’ll have at least until May 18th to grab one. There’s also a janky keychain preorder listing in the shop to go along with it, but it’s mostly for a few international folks who expressed interest in the discord. Anyone’s welcome to use it, but all of those items are gonna be regular stock eventually so don’t sweat it too much.

I’m… yeah, I don’t like how casual Crow is here. Or the signs of magic. Or the correction(right or no).

Now granted, I’m not a fan of Crow in general(As a person! As a character he’s great.), but this situation… If I were Phin, I’d be asserting that I’m uncomfortable, that he needs to leave, and I’d be looking for help. This approach definitely evokes some discomfort.

In a way, it parallels how Phin approached Ulrich and Agatha, and, other than the one really obvious difference, there’s not a whole lot separating the situations(Phin did force herself(friendship-wise) on them), but… I don’t know.

Maybe it’s bias, but with Phin, it felt like they always had agency, and she “cared”, or at least tried to care about that. With Crow it feels more… encompassing. Like gravity. And if someone’s fighting it they “just don’t know what’s good”.

  What got me is that he used that “weight” that Commanders have. He influenced her into telling him her name, which is shitty! And Phin actively avoids using that power, that’s why it felt so different when Phin recruited her pals. It was their choice, even if Phin was… persistent. But the choice was still there.

    Yeah, “weight” is what I meant. Said magic by accident(mostly because I was trying not to say Sliver Speak, which is his brother). But yeah… He’s just actively confirming my bias against him here.
    
    Hopefully the end of Jo’s response to his actions here won’t be what little she’s said. I doubt what he did slipped by her.
