Panels 4 and 6 have multiple curiosities…..Phin asks about the Saints changing like that’s either bad, unheard of, or something else of quite some significance (presumably details that we won’t learn until those Saints start showing up long enough to have a chat). Ulrich clears his throat” right there…I vaguely recall she sometimes leaks and influences others, was that him saying to watch herself from doing that again? (If so I assume he felt the shift. And/or just to refocus himself.) Or was that just him also reacting to the same details, and if so, what’s his take on it? (Uncomfortably familiar, or again just refocusing because of unusual details.)

While panel 4 has a lot to pull apart if one so desires… 6 is more just funny, but also completely unbelievable. Ulrich’s chatting with someone he has no reasons to trust, and that phrasing…is easily misleading (can’t even say he was lying since he didn’t actually say yes or no) so I think I’d actually be more surprised if that statement was truly accurate…..

(I see your link, and I see moths there. I also see (in the hole burnt into the page) “droids”, which I presume was “androids”, which makes me curious just how far out everything is already written….I mean, now I’m assuming worldbuilding at least halfway to Kairos, but still….)

  The comments on this arc have been SO VALIDATING it’s been so nice how people are paying so much attention to little character details aaaa thank u
  
  I have all of the main crew written, the midpoint and the ending events planned out and most of the major beats to get us there! KC is divided into three sections, the first section being us collecting everyone and getting to kairos crossing, and I have all those arcs’ thematic concepts written and ready to go. A lot of stuff beyond that is still pretty vague because I wanted the story to be able to grow with me over time, but the skeleton is there so I promise we’re not totally flying blind haha

    Eh. Depends on the day. Sometimes I’ll just go “hee~” and that’s about as much thought as I put into it. Sometimes I try to dig a little deeper and try to understand things (and probably miss the target, but eh).
    
    So major plot points written, just which side of the burning barn falls down first won’t be known ’til it gets set on fire, kind of thing? (…I have no idea why that’s the particular first analogy that came to mind.)

Hmmm… The Patron Gods of a small insular community have changed into something darker? …Who exactly is the pastor(ess) around here, and how much have they started talking about how doing/thinking/being certain things -that at least some of the townsfolk are- are evil?

Just out of curiosity.
