I know I JUST got done being all mushy about your guys’ support, but um you guys managed to get KC to the front page of TopWebcomics this week?? We’ve been hovering around the 50-60’s which is uh, really cool. Only took us, what, a year of scraping together our votes? It’s brought in a lot of new eyes and I personally think it’s pretty cool that KC’s readers are dedicated enough to help out every day. Gosh. Jeez. Thank you so much.

And guessing the whole thing is the aforementioned smoke and mirrors and not real and just to mess with her head, maybe to get her to orient to the “ground” when she’s still on the ship. Would certainly help keep her off balance, assuming she fell for it.

Curious as to what “Again?” is supposed to be, though.

(Or is this supposed to be sending her back to relive a painful memory and that’s why it says “again”? Still smoke and mirrors, just meant to be the actual blow instead of just level design.)

  Floating land masses aren’t uncommon, but that’s definitely not all of it! Even though Hastur makes herself known a little more than other big guys do there are a bunch of them influencing the world in different ways. Reality-bending monsters screwing with a world long enough eventually leaves that world banged up and divided, lots of little pockets of weirdness depending on where you go. That’s why adventurers prefer flying ships, they can navigate through pretty much anything you’d happen to come across haha
