I don’t really have anything specific to say about this page, but I’m enjoying this whole section and also I just wanted to say that Eisse’s colour coordination is absolutely on point.

To sum up: Phin doesn’t dare to be badass. She declares herself badass, and complains that the world isn’t keeping up with the score.

(Commanders seem like if reality warpers were limited to modifying only themselves, but then master it to the point where that’s actually a pro rather than a con.)

(In other words: “I’d wish you luck, but it wouldn’t help. She would not allow it to help.”)

I am really impressed with how *often* I think “man, that page was awesome” when I come here. All you have are a few words and pictures, and this comes across like either pages of well written text or a movie with the sound and music and movement and camera angles and stuff. Very, very well done.
